How do I export Salesforce data to my computer?
Use DataLoader. It’s a tool that batch exports Salesforce records as .csv files to your computer. To download it, login to Salesforce.com, navigate to setup, and search for “Data Loader”.
How do I read Salesforce data from my website?
You can use any one of Salesforce’s REST, SOAP, Bulk, and Streaming APIs. If you have a WordPress site, I suggest you checkout “Force.com Toolkit for PHP” (https://developer.salesforce.com/page/PHP_Toolkit). It uses SOAP API to to read Salesforce records as XML data.
